About
Established in 2005, Assembly Architects Limited is a New Zealand Institute of Architects practice. Directors Justin and Louise Wright deliver customised private and public architecture projects throughout the country to local and global clients from their Wellington based Architecture studio. Projects include residential homes, holiday homes, boutique commercial projects and various prefabricated and modular buildings. We offer traditional architect services, modern communication and also prefabrication and modular consultancy.
Justin and Louise Wright both graduated with honours from the Victoria University School of Architecture in Wellington. As part of their respective degree programmes at Victoria University they also attended the Penn State University Sede di Roma Architectural Exchange in Rome, Italy. Justin and Louise are Registered Architects and have hands on involvement in every project. They are married and have three young children.
Louise is of Maori descent from her mother’s side (Te Arawa, Tuwharetoa, Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki, Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti, Rongowhakaata). She is raising her children in a bi-lingual Maori-English environment and continues to study Te Reo Maori at certificate and diploma level. More about Louise here at the Architecture+Women website.
Graduate James Norman began at Assembly in early 2010 having completed his architecture degree at Victoria University. James had previously worked with Assembly throughout his university studies and has now gained significant experience in the Wellington Zoo Hub project and ongoing residential projects.
